These Terms govern your access to and use of the MoneyPlant website and app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use MoneyPlant.

2. What MoneyPlant is — and isn't

MoneyPlant helps you manually record your assets, liabilities, goals and contributions, and shows calculations, projections and insights based on the numbers and assumptions you provide. It does not provide investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, does not recommend or sell any security or financial product, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Any projections (including calculators and goal funding) are estimates only and are not guarantees of future results.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Your data

The financial data you enter is yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store, process and display it to you and to operate the Service. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter — the quality of your net worth and projections depends on it. You can export or delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to breach security or access other users' data, no automated scraping, no reverse engineering, no disruption of the Service, and no uploading of malicious code. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Plans & payments

The Free plan is available at no cost. Paid plans (Pro and Lifetime) may be offered with features and prices shown on the pricing page; prices are in INR and may include applicable taxes. When paid billing launches, any subscription, renewal, cancellation and refund terms presented at checkout will apply. We may change prices with notice for future billing periods.

7. Third-party services

We use third-party providers (for hosting, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, notifications and feedback) to run the Service. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. We're not responsible for third-party websites or services you choose to use.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the MoneyPlant name and logo, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our branding.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of calculations. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoneyPlant and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any financial losses or decisions arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹0 if you're on the Free plan).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify MoneyPlant against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at your principal place of business/registration will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
